Roberto Heckers

From my early days as a self-taught software engineer, my passion for Angular has been the driving force behind my career. I’m Roberto Heckers, an Angular specialist who has been immersed in the framework since its AngularJS inception. My journey began with building small applications, and over the years, I've honed my skills to become an expert in developing complex, scalable enterprise solutions. In 2019, I took on the role of front-end team lead for the first time, spearheading the creation of an extensive real-estate application and UI library for SpaceWell. This experience was transformative, allowing me to develop a deep understanding of Angular's capabilities and best practices. Since then, my focus has been on architecting and implementing sophisticated applications that meet the demanding needs of large enterprises. Today, I work as a freelance Angular engineer, collaborating with some of the most prominent companies in the Netherlands, including Vattenfall and Marel. My projects are used by millions of users, and I take immense pride in delivering high-quality, user-centric applications that stand the test of time.
