I’m Roberto Russo, an architect and teacher. My journey in education began in a rather unusual way. After earning a degree in Architecture in Italy, I found myself drawn to teaching, particularly special education. This career shift stemmed from a belief that the problem-solving and design-thinking skills I'd developed in architecture could be valuable in helping students overcome learning challenges. Currently, I teach Art at the middle school level. In my classrooms, I strive to create an inclusive and creative environment. I believe every student has the potential to succeed when given the right tools and strategies combining traditional teaching methods with innovative techniques. Outside of teaching, I'm involved with a project called "TeachFizz," which aims to connect educators with creative communities to foster innovation in teaching. This initiative reflects my belief that education must continually evolve to meet the changing needs of our students.
