Robin McPhillips

Jonathan Sturges—Merchant of Old New York is the initial literary offering by Robin McPhillips, a retired Navy Captain and aerospace program manager. For twenty-four years she and her family resided in Fairfield, Connecticut, where she served as a docent at the Fairfield Museum and History center and additionally completed her M.A in American Studies at Fairfield University, with a focus on nineteenth century Fairfield and New York. Robin grew up in the greater Seattle, Washington,area and was in the second class of women to graduate from the U.S. Naval Academy. She and her husband have two adult children, all history buffs, and now reside on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Robin enjoys research, reading and writing about those gems of American history that are lingering in the archives, just waiting to be discovered!
