Roger Heuser

Roger Heuser is professor of leadership studies at Vanguard University, a private liberal arts university located in Costa Mesa, California. He holds a Ph.D. from New York University and teaches a variety of graduate and undergraduate courses that specialize in spirituality of leadership, theology and theory of leadership, gender and diversity, conflict management, team building, change and strategic planning, and research methods. He is a consultant and retreat facilitator for congregations and nonprofits as well as an adjunct professor at Fuller Theological Seminary, Northwest University, and other programs in Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Before beginning his teaching career, Roger pastored for twelve years in the Chicago area. Roger grew up in Wisconsin and the Chicago area, and now resides in San Clemente, California with his wife, Gayle -- hospice chaplain, spiritual director, and singer.
