I am Geegado Megwan Kwe, which means Talking Feather Woman, also known by my Earth Name, Rollie Allaire. As your guide on this journey, I bring not only my professional expertise but also the wisdom gained from my roles as a wife, mother, grandmother (Nõkum), and heart-centered family member. As a proud Métis woman with Ojibwe heritage, my journey of rediscovering and learning my culture is driven by a profound commitment to pass on this invaluable knowledge to future generations, starting with my grandchildren. My belief in the power of knowledge, coupled with a strong focus on family and community, fuels my mission to understand and share the richness of my culture. Through this work, I hope to contribute to a future where Indigenous heritage is remembered, celebrated, and integrated into the lives of younger generations, serving as a bridge between the past, present, and future and embodying the spirit of resilience and cultural continuity. I'm blessed with a rich network of family connections. I'm a wife to a supportive husband who has been a loving father to my children for years. I'm the proud mother of two boys and a doting Nõkum to my beautiful grandson, with another grandchild on the way. My family circle extends beyond blood ties, embracing my daughter-in-law as my own daughter and including a special young girl who we've welcomed as our granddaughter. My heart family also includes a young woman I consider a daughter, along with her two beautiful children. This web of loving relationships informs my approach to healing and growth, bringing depth and warmth to the wisdom I share. My personal journey through anxiety, combined with my background in mental health and addiction counselling, has led me to develop this holistic approach to healing. I weave together traditional Indigenous teachings with modern holistic practices to create a powerful, nurturing space for your own growth and renewal.
