
Ronald W. Collins, is the Chair of the Hebron, NH Heritage Commission, and President of the Hebron Historical Society. He has written a number of histories, genealogies and literary books. His works include: 'A History of Newfound Lake'; 'The History of Hebron, NH'; 'The Genealogies of Hebron, NH'; 'The Collins Family History'; 'Sergeant John Ordway, A History with his Genealogy'; 'The McLanes – A New Hampshire Clan', and many other genealogies. Ron is also a recognized poet. His collected work has been published under the title 'Found There'. He has also edited four anthologies of poetry and prose: 'Shadows of Water', 'Hills of Light', 'Valley of Ice', and 'Angles of Life'. All of Ron’s historical and genealogical works were published after he retired from a successful business career as a Fortune 500 vice president, and CEO of an international high tech company. He lives in Hebron, NH on Newfound Lake, less than a mile from both branches of the McLane Clan estates discussed in the book, 'The McLanes – A New Hampshire Clan'. He is a member of the New England Historic Genealogical Society.
