Rose White won awards in art and gardening and loves to sing in choirs. She is even a published poet, received awards for her artwork, and loves to share her favorite activities with others. Rose taught art to preschool children and donated some of her creations to charities. She now has a gardening book published, along with a series of coloring books with themes based on KJV Bible scripture, flowers, and mandalas. Rose grew up in a family of gardeners and has been gardening since elementary school where she won blue ribbons for her skills. After 30 years of designing gardens, she now manages all the gardens for her apartment complex where her neighbors enjoy the flowers that bloom over 11 months a year in zone 5 with little work or expense. She spent 20 years creating her first large garden that was mostly in the shade. Her passion is teaching others how to use this natural method, even if they have never gardened before. Sometimes she feels like the Pied Piper when preschool children ask to help. Rose travels frequently and loves visiting gardens to learn new techniques to share with her readers. Her books are written with the new gardener in mind. She is an expert at teaching others how to raise a beautiful garden against all odds. And on a low budget, too! Gardening is Rose’s favorite thing to do as she watches her flowers magically bloom by themselves every year.
