ROSIE MAYES is the creator of the blog and YouTube channel I Heart Recipes (IHeartRecipes.com). She grew up in the kitchen alongside her mother and aunts, learning to cook the Southern and soul-food favorites of her Louisiana-based family. She launched her blog and YouTube channel back in 2009, when she was working full time as a certified nursing assistant, but I Heart Recipes became so successful that in 2014, she took a leap of faith, quit her nursing job, and started blogging full time. Rosie finds recipe inspiration everywhere and anywhere, often from her devoted audience. When she's not in the kitchen, she loves spending time with her family. She lives in Seattle.
