关于作者

Ross Shafer has one of the most unusual backgrounds of any business author and leadership speaker. At 13 years old he started flipping bicycles, motorcycles, and cars. At 17, he was remodeling and flipping run down houses. After being awarded a football scholarship to the University of Puget Sound, he graduated with a dual degree in business Marketing and Management. At 21, he scoured the bankruptcy courts for businesses he could buy cheap, refurbish, and resell. By 28, he leveraged his discipline for hard work to the comedy clubs and by 1983 he won an International Comedy Comedy contest. That achievement propelled him into headline status throughout the U.S. His comedy style caught the attention of an NBC affiliate (KING-TV) in Seattle, where he created the iconic comedy talk show, ALMOST LIVE. Over 15 years, ALMOST LIVE collected more than 100 Emmys and became a hit on the Comedy Central network. His success led Ross to host several Network Talk and Game shows (The Late Show on Fox, Love Me, Love Not on USA, Days End on ABC, and Days End also on ABC). In 1994, Ross decided to combine his business savvy and his comedy background to create a Human Resource Training Film company and has (16) films in distribution worldwide. Today, Ross is the author of (10) business books on Leadership, Customer Experience, Navigating ANY Economy, Marketing, and Personal Performance. His ability to crystalize humor and success-through-tactics is why Ross Shafer is a top Fortune 500 keynote speaker on four continents.
