Ross Shafer

Ross Shafer has one of the most unusual backgrounds of any business author and leadership speaker. At 13 years old he started flipping bicycles, motorcycles, and cars. At 17, he was remodeling and flipping run down houses. After being awarded a football scholarship to the University of Puget Sound, he graduated with a dual degree in business Marketing and Management. At 21, he scoured the bankruptcy courts for businesses he could buy cheap, refurbish, and resell. By 28, he leveraged his discipline for hard work to the comedy clubs and by 1983 he won an International Comedy Comedy contest.
