Roxane I. Hilton Clarke

Roxane Hilton Clarke has had a passion for animals after being raised in what felt like a mini zoo. Surrounded by dogs, a cat, hamsters, fish, macaws, green parrots and many more wild animals in the surrounding mountains, she has always been inspired by their unconditional love and uniqueness. After considering a career as a veterinarian, she instead studied medicine, but has always cared for animals by volunteering in shelters and assisting those in need. As an aspiring animal whisperer, Roxane’s life was changed when she was adopted by a feral cat, Emerald, at a time in her life when she needed rescuing. He has taught her many life-lessons including earning trust, developing patience, having faith, acceptance, and the value of pure joy and unending love. She hopes to inspire children and parents to open their lives and hearts to adopting animals in need and experience these life-changing relationships. To love and be loved is the greatest gift one can attain.
