Rue McKenrick CONSERVATIONIST, DESIGNER, FOUNDER. Rue McKenrick is a professional backpacker, conservationist, Triple Crowner, and the creator of the APT. He has completed the first entire hike of the American Perimeter Trail, backpacking over 14,000 miles. Rue founded the nonprofit American Perimeter Trail Conference, which is the steward of the APT.
