Rush Cole grew up passionately striving to create a sense of beauty and peace in her dysfunctional family life by drawing and painting in stolen moments. Barely twelve when she made her first art sale, by the end of eighth grade she was named "Most Promising Art Student" out of hundreds of fellow classmates at her school. Decades later, Rush found herself struggling to succeed at life on many levels, most especially as a mother. Realizing she'd been taught all the wrong things about parenting when she, herself, was still a small child, Cole began filling blank journals with her chaotic feelings and thoughts on a daily basis. Gradually, Rush came to understand that she was healing herself by writing about her life; past and present. Most recently, Cole has begun using her fine art images on the covers of blank journals and notebooks, designing them specifically for various segments of human society. As always, Rush's intention is to share the fruits of her creativity with all who are drawn to it.
