Russ Mitchell is an author, historian, and fencing instructor who helps people with stress, strain, and balance issues. He also writes fantasy stories for fun and to read to his daughter. Russ' work is heavily influenced by Moshe Feldenkrais, Barbara Hambly, Robert Heinlein, and Glen Cook. He is a big fan of Hunter S. Thompson's famous dictum "when the going gets weird, the weird turn pro." He was voted "least in need of LSD" while in college, which might explain a lot. When not travelling to smack people with swords and axes, he lives in Irving, TX, with his wife, daughter, and cats.
