Russell Resnik

Russ Resnik encountered Jesus as Lord and Messiah in the early 70s as a young radical in the mountains of northern New Mexico. Today, he is a veteran rabbi, teacher, counselor, and writer, serving as Rabbinic Counsel of the Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations (UMJC), an association dedicated to uniting and strengthening Jewish congregations for Jesus, or Yeshua the Messiah. Russ has taught and lectured on spiritual formation and biblical studies throughout the USA and in Israel, Canada, Mexico, South America, South Africa, and Russia. As a writer, he contributes regularly to Messianic publications and websites, serves as editor of Kesher: A Journal of Messianic Judaism, and is the author of several books available on Amazon, including the 2021 publication Besorah: The Resurrection of Jerusalem and the Healing of a Fractured Gospel, co-authored with Dr. Mark Kinzer. Russ and his wife, Jane, have four children and seven grandchildren, and live in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
