Ruth Viera

关于作者

Ruth Viera has always been fascinated by languages, cultures, and the interconnectedness of our world. Fluent in five languages and having lived in eight countries, including the USA, Mexico, Brazil, China, and the UK (plus an entire stint onboard a cruise ship - a story she reserves for a future book and a different audience). Ruth has experienced firsthand the richness and challenges of multicultural environments. With a passion for exploration, Ruth has traveled to over 70 countries, discovering the power of language in fostering connection and understanding across borders. Now based in the USA, Ruth and her family speak three languages at home, where their toddler son effortlessly navigates between them without mixing them up—a testament to the effectiveness of multilingual upbringing. Drawing from her extensive corporate career in Marketing within the hospitality and Beauty industries, Ruth embarked on a new journey—to write a book that addresses the unique challenges faced by moms raising children in multicultural environments. Through her book, "Alphabet-o's," Ruth aims to provide practical guidance and support to mothers navigating the complexities of raising multilingual and multicultural children. With firsthand experience and a deep understanding of the importance of linguistic and cultural diversity, Ruth is committed to empowering parents and children alike to embrace their unique backgrounds and thrive in a globalized world.
