Ryan Andrew Smith

Ryan Smith and his family live in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, where Ryan serves as Lead Pastor of Arrow Heights Baptist Church. Ryan was born and raised in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He earned his Doctorate of Ministry in Apologetics from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where he also holds a Master of Theology degree. Previously, Ryan earned his Master of Divinity degree from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. Ryan served at Eagle Heights Baptist Church in Stillwater, Oklahoma, for over eighteen years as a worship leader and Associate Pastor. Ryan and his wife Allison have been married for sixteen years and have two children. Ryan is also a writer, speaker, blogger, and songwriter. His new book, 'Trust the Circle: Understanding God's Design for Sex, Gender, and Sexuality' has recently been published through Westbow Press. 'Trust the Circle' is an outgrowth of the ministry Ryan champions called 'Trust the Circle' helping equip churches to understand God's good and Biblical design for sex, gender, marriage, and sexuality. His first book, 'Not That God: Trading the Believable Lie for the Unbelievable Truth' was released in 2015. 'Not That God' approaches weighty themes in an honest, conversational and gospel-centered way to help readers come to an understanding of God and His purpose.
