Ryan Stygar grew up in San Diego, California. He spent several years as a firefighter for Cal Fire and San Diego County. Notably, he spent several seasons as a desert rescue specialist and as a wildland firefighter. Ryan Stygar left the fire department to earn a law degree. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from California Western School of Law. Ryan Stygar has published a variety of books across several genres.
