Sadiq believes that the knowledge of God is the supreme form of knowledge there is and hence he finds it inspiring and rewarding to seek that knowledge across different spiritual traditions. The knowledge of God, which in the Sufi Path is known as ma’rifat, ihsan, irfan, or gnosis. Every other branch and domain of knowledge are subset and subordinate to that. With over 15 years of experience writing and sharing on Sufism, Comparative spirituality, and different faith traditions, Sadiq draws from his personal experiences, journey, and different resources. He is the Editor and Author of Technology of the Heart, an internationally acclaimed weblog published since 2005. Through the site, the author covers a wide range of themes including integral and comparative spirituality, world faith traditions, and mysticism. Interviews with many contemporary spiritual teachers, authors, artists, and visionaries are frequently featured in the site as well. It used to be one of the most searched sites on topics of Sufism on the internet when such materials were not so common. His blog, previously known as Inspirations and Creative Thoughts has been nominated for several international awards including Asia Blog Award and Blogger’s Choice Award. Sadiq was educated as an engineer, earning his Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering and has made a career as a Tech Entrepreneur. In addition to managing two Tech Companies, and apart from his daily responsibilities, Sadiq most enjoys his study of all spiritual traditions, fostering an understanding of the common thread of spirituality that weaves through and transcends all religions and cultures. Apart from Sufism, his interest encompasses the study of the Quran, Eschatology, and its related branches, the study of the hidden and suppressed history of traditional Islam. He studied with a number of contemporary spiritual/ religious teachers including Shaykh Muhammad al-Jamal and Shaykh Nooruddeen Durkee. He considers himself influenced by several past and present spiritual teachers including Inayat Khan, Bawa Muhaiyaddeen, Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee, Lex Hixon, Imran N. Hossain, Fadhlallah Haeri and Imamuddin Muhammad Toaha bin Habib.
