Safire Rose is a poet, author, teacher, and interspiritual minister. Back in 1984 when she was 27 years old, Safire underwent a profound shift in consciousness, over the course of ten days, when she awakened to an inexplicable presence of joy that lifted her out of a life-threatening depression. The presence of that joy abides in her to this day and forms the basis of her spiritual orientation to life and her writing. Safire has been a contributor to Agape International Spiritual Center’s monthly publication, Inner Visions, and to Centers for Spiritual Living’s Science of Mind magazine. Safire is best known for her poem, “She Let Go.” Safire holds degrees from the University of California, Irvine (M.A.), and from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles (J.D.). She is an ordained minister of Agape International Spiritual Center in Los Angeles, and Centers for Spiritual Living. Safire is a graduate of the University of Santa Monica’s two-year Soul-Centered Living Certificate Program in Spiritual Psychology, and Alan Cohen’s Foundation for Holistic Coaching. Safire has been a workshop facilitator, spiritual counselor, and paralegal for over thirty years. She has also been a guest speaker at Agape International Spiritual Center, Centers for Spiritual Living and other venues. Safire practices presence through mindful awareness, Metta, kirtan, and communing with nature. Safire lives with her partner, Christy, in Ventura, California.
