Author Sahel Wasseluk is a practicing attorney based in Los Angeles, where she lives with her husband and their two young children. Passionate about sharing the beauty of Persian culture, Sahel teamed up with her animation director husband to create "Baby Shekamoo: Persian Foods from A to Z." This delightful picture book introduces children to Persian cuisine and language through vibrant storytelling. When she’s not advocating for her clients or collaborating on creative projects, Sahel enjoys exploring LA’s diverse food scene and sharing Persian traditions with her family. Baby Shekamoo: Persian Foods from A to Z is her debut children’s book.
