Sam Smith

关于作者

Meet Sam Smith, the Kiwi author and comedian who swapped dental drills for punchlines and pens. Diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) in 2015, Sam decided that partial vision loss was the perfect excuse to dive into the world of writing and comedy. His debut children’s book, “Snake Bought Cake,” slithered onto the scene in 2022 and has been gobbled up by kids and parents alike. Sam’s other literary outings include “Don’t Scare The Dentist” and the graphic novel series “Miles and Jones.” Sam also works on TV shows like “7 Days,” “The Project,” and “Taskmaster NZ” (where he writes tasks) and was a contestant and eventual winner of the first season of "The Traitors NZ". He also produces the “ReVISION” podcast for Blind Low Vision NZ. As an ambassador for MS Auckland, Sam is on a mission to show that an MS diagnosis can be a positive force in life. So, if you ever need a dose of humor, just remember: Sam’s got you covered!
