Sandy Fries

Sandy Fries wrote and edited many different Star Trek projects for Paramount Studios: Star Trek: The Next Generation TV shows, Star Trek video games and a Trek novel. He also wrote for NBC’s Quantum Leap, Fame, Thundercats, the animated Spiderman, live action Superboy and many other hit TV shows. He is still writing and also is a Professor of Film and Mass Communication at the College of DuPage. Fries has an Emmy nomination for television writing and many other awards. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, The Writers Guild of America and the Academy of Television Arts And Sciences. Sandy received his Master’s Degree at Columbia University, where he was an NBC TV Fellow. Professor Fries recently won the Writers Guild of America Award for his writing on one of the 101 Best Written TV Series in the History of Television, Star Trek: The Next Generation.
