Sandy K. Cook

Sandra K. Cook (a.k.a. Sandy) became a Christian when a door-to-door evangelism team came to tell her about Jesus. She was saved on the front doorstep of her home when she was in the 10th grade and she asked Jesus to become Lord of her life. Sandy’s life changed dramatically in the years that followed. She has been refined by fiery trials. Sandy was married at 19, widowed at the age of 22, lived in poverty, was assaulted, and in a bank robbery with a gun held to her head. She was suicidal, struggled mightily with her self-esteem, and felt her life was pointless. After her first husband’s death, Sandy began to read her Bible from cover-to-cover, deeply desiring to understand the purpose of life and to learn about God. Reading the Bible set Sandy’s heart on walking with the Lord. She was gripped by the love God proclaims for each one of us, because she often felt unloved and unlovable. In her life today, Sandy focuses on godly love, above all things, and seeks to help other Christians feel and understand God’s love, and to grow their fruit of the spirit. She believes everybody is more than just somebody... Everybody is God’s Beloved Child, including YOU, my dear one! Sandy's love for Jesus and the Bible leads her to develop Journal Bible Studies and to lead Bible Study classes. Sandy's heart and passion is toward people struggling to find their way in life due to low self-esteem, difficult life circumstances, and toward those seeking the truth about God, Jesus, and the Bible. The greatest joys in Sandy’s life are spending time with her husband, sons, family, and her friends. Sandy loves reading to learn, studying the Bible, photography, and singing praise songs (although, you do not want to hear her tone deaf singing!) Sandy earned her Degree of Divinity from the Christian Leaders Institute. She is a certified Biblical Life Coach, has a Master’s Degree in Instructional Design, and is a life-long learner.
