With more than three decades writing nonfiction and fiction, Sandy Schauer has written about a wide variety of subjects. Sandy's two novels center on life in Bayonne, New Jersey, during the early 20th Century. Her characters are German-Americans who live through World War I, the high times of the 1920s, the Great Depression, World War II and post World War II. Sandy's background in small newspapers gives her the ability to tell about how people live.
