Sara Richard is an Eisner and Ringo Awards nominated artist. She is also an author of several short stories, the most recent being "Gathered" in Storm King's Tales For A Halloween Night by Storm King. Her first book, "Kitty & Dino" was nominated for an Eisner Award in 2013 and her newest collaboration with Franco is "The Ghost, The Owl" which has been nominated for a 2019 Ringo Award for Best Original Graphic Novel. Sara herself has been nominated for the 2019 Ringo Award Best Cover Artist as well. Her work can be found on over 90 covers for IDW Comic's My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Series. Her other cover work credits include, IDW's Jem and The Holograms, ONI Press' Rick and Morty, DC Collectables' Justice League Tarot Card set, Marvel's Deadpool and many more. Sara is inspired by the aesthetics of Art Deco, The 80's and Victorian Funerary art. She loves ghost stories, owls and macabre history. Living in Salem, MA she is the 11th great granddaughter of one of the accused "witches," Margaret Scott.
