Sarah Alomari

Sarah Alomari is a Palestinian-Muslim who was born in and grew up in the Chicago suburbs. Every summer her family visited Palestine, her original home and she eventually lived there and went to university in Jerusalem. Moving back to Chicago, she continued her studies and attained a masters degree in clinical psych and counseling. She reignited her passion for writing and published her poetry series “Where the Olives Grow” and more about her experience as a Palestinian living in the Midwest and under occupation.
