My father was the first person to acknowledge my skills as a writer, and from then on, I began writing poems and short stories. I have never published my personal works outside of my 'How-to' or guides; but I hope to change that one day soon. I began writing 'How-to' guides, due to my publishers, and it led me into the world of article writing and ghost writing, and now that's my professional niche.
