Sarah Russell, the author of "A VIETNAMESE CUISINE COLORING BOOK: Exploring the Favorite Flavors of Vietnam’s Southern Region" is a shaman and trained artist with deep cultural ties to the Southern region of Vietnam. Raised in the United States and traveling worldly, the author spent years learning and connecting with the ancient spiritual and culinary traditions of her heritage and brings a unique perspective to the book. The author’s deep understanding of spirituality and the customs surrounding food as well as food art history provides a rich, multi-dimensional experience for readers. This book reflects not only their personal journey of reconnecting with their ancestral roots but also their mission to preserve these traditions for future generations.
