Author’s Biography I’m a lifelong reader of science fiction and as a young boy developed a love for the works of the great Science Fiction masters that shaped my view of the world and the cosmos such as E.E. ‘Doc’ Smith, Isaac Asimov, Robert Heinlein, Gordon R. Dickson, and Frank Herbert. My very first science fiction story was Tom Corbett and the Space Cadets. I was five-years old and had to bribe my brother, who was in the second grade, to read it to me. I've been fortunate to have experienced several careers over my lifetime. As a former high school coach and classroom teacher, I enjoyed the challenges of working with young students and watching them grow into adults. As a corporate sales/training professional, I developed sales techniques, training manuals and delivered training classes and field training to professional sales teams. As an owner of a family owned service business in the Tampa Bay area, I learned much from the real-life challenges of customer service and meeting everyday requirements of business ownership. The day-to-day interactions with my customers provided me material for many of the characters in my stories. Soon after retirement in 2009 and at the encouragement of my wife, who often made mention of my over active imagination and storytelling abilities, I sat down to see if I could write a science fiction story. My first book was “Annihilation – Love Conquers All”; before I knew it, three books had made their way on to my laptop. The response from some trusted friends was overwhelming! I published those three books in April of 2011 and, to my very surprised delight, I quickly discovered there were thousands that enjoyed my stories; I became one of Amazon’s number one international bestselling, science fiction, independent authors. Since 2011 I have written over 55 books in 13 series. Parents don’t have to worry about their children because I keep it clean and strive to pen a story anyone can read and enjoy. I want science fiction fans, like myself, to stay up all night trying to finish one of my stories! There, you’re warned. Now hold on to your seats and enjoy the SciFi series I’ve created. Have I got some stories for you…” Saxon still lives in Tampa and when he’s not creating a new story or keeping in touch with his fans and fellow indie authors; he’s golfing, traveling or enjoying the beaches of Florida.
