I write novels, graphic novels, plays, illustrated books, short stories - what ever format a story requires, I'll use it. My goal is a book a year and I've kept that rhythm going for over a decade. My graphic Novels and Prose stories center around the universe of Our Super Mom, a powerful female hero juggling family life with heroics and teaching the next generation. It's as much real world as it is fantasy, and a respectful look at gender in a genre usually known for its male gaze. Some of my stories are all ages, some are for grown ups, and all are stand alone - but they also connect if you want to follow the bigger picture. My illustrated books are rich with humor and whimsy with a bit of the absurd. I search far and wide for brilliant artists that take my stories to a level I could not do myself. My plays are down to earth stories about relationships and how we create them, with a strong dose of humor to wash the drama down.
