Scott Calvin

With a major in astronomy and physics and a minor in classics from the University of California Berkeley, followed by a Ph. D. in chemical physics from Hunter College, Dr. Calvin has taught in a wide variety of settings, including the Hayden Planetarium, Lowell High School, Southern Connecticut State University, the University of San Francisco, Examkrackers, Sarah Lawrence College, and through Mirare Services, an educational company he ran in the 1990's. He has developed and taught a variety of innovative courses, including Crazy Ideas in Physics, Rocket Science, and Steampunk Physics. He is currently the Pre-Health Program Director at Lehman College.
