Feldmann, a Skaneateles New Yorker, started his artistic career at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, as part of the opening team of Imagineers for Epcot. There he animated special effects for the interactive attraction WorldKey Network and designed a logo for Michael Jackson's "Captain Eo" 3-D spectacular. After a 35-year detour including the formation of a creative studio called Magic Pencil and the co-founding the Eclectic Music Festival in South Pasadena, California, he and creative partner Brad Colerick formed the Deep Magic Song & Drawing Company. Feldmann writes, draws, and animates as he sees fit, always looking to have fun and figure out the software without resorting to the Help Desk. The duo's most recent film "Lost Bird" (Zintkála Nuni) took the prize for Best Short Film at the Black Hills Film Festival in Hill City, South Dakota. The book adaptation Zintka! is a BookLife Editor's Pick and got high praise from Kirkus Reviews. Feldmann has two highly creative and amazing adult children. He lives in Pasadena, California and attends Brad Colerick's Wine & Song listening room weekly to feed his soul with live music by indie artists.
