Sean Burns

Sean Burns has developed extensive experience as a full-stack enterprise software engineer focused primarily on the .NET stack generally, and server-side programming in C#, specifically. Over the course of his career, he has served as a .NET development consultant in the finance, healthcare, GIS, and consumer goods manufacturing industries. In that time, he has served as the technical lead and primary developer on enterprise applications for Fortune 100 companies. The breadth of this exposure has allowed him to cultivate a deep expertise in generally-applicable, modern development patterns and practices for developing web-based distributed systems with C#, and .NET. When he’s not programming professionally, he’s also a hobbyist game developer, musician, and now, at least sometimes, an author.
