Sean CW Korsgaard

Sean CW Korsgaard is a US Army veteran, award-winning photojournalist, and an editor and author of science fiction and fantasy. His work as a reporter has seen him sent everywhere from in the thick of riots to jumping out of planes beside paratroopers, interviewing rock stars, Holocaust survivors and two US Presidents, and on one occasion, was even attacked by a shark on assignment. Sean has over had over 1,500 articles published over half a decade, including bylines in outlets as diverse as The New York Times, VFW Magazine, and Analog Science Fiction & Fact. As an author, his short fiction has included finalists for the Baen Fantasy Adventure Award and Writers of the Future. He recently joined the editorial staff at Baen Books, where in addition to his editorial duties, he handles media and military relations for the publisher. His first anthology, World's Long Lost, releases in December 2022. Sean is always looking for his next great adventure, and his next big byline. He lives in Richmond, Virginia, with his wife.
