Sean Lacow is an experienced cross country coach and author, bringing a passion for running and personal development to both his writing and coaching. With a deep belief in the transformative power of running, Sean has dedicated his career to helping young athletes build resilience, self-confidence, and mental toughness through cross country training. Sean is the author of Miles to Mindset: The Transformative Power of Cross Country Running, where he shares his own journey as a runner, including the pivotal California International Marathon that changed his approach to training and life. The book dives into the science of running and the mental strategies that help athletes push beyond their limits. In his latest project, a children's chapter book titled Run with Your Heart, Sean introduces readers to Holly, a new runner discovering the joys and challenges of cross country. Designed for readers aged 8-16, the book follows Holly’s season-long journey of personal growth, overcoming obstacles, and forming lasting friendships. When not writing or coaching, Sean enjoys inspiring young runners to believe in themselves and unlock their potential through dedication and smart training. He lives in Fallon Nevada and continues to mentor the next generation of athletes.
