Sean Ryan

Sean started his writing career in 2000 as a teenager when popular the popular NFL website, NFLDraftBlitz.com, needed team columnists. He spent several years writing columns for various publications and later expanded into fiction and screenwriting. Like most web and blog writers in the early 2000s, the basic necessities of life (such as, purchasing food and finding adequate shelter) pulled Sean away from writing and pushed him towards a life of business. He has spent 15 years forging a successful career with experience in several industries and brings a unique blend of sports insight and business savvy as well as financial and managerial insight. While still aggressively pursuing goals in his business career, the call to "create" was too strong to resist. In his spare time, Sean founded The Functional Sportsaholic, a top Sports and Recreation Podcast, Get Paid: Fantasy Gambling and Daily Fantasy (a fantasy and daily fantasy sports themed podcast) and Gold Standard Sports Forecasting, which he considers to be the only proven sports forecasting tool at a reasonable price.
