I have developed my career as an actor, director and writer. I present my new book. "Cautivos, una programa ancestral" (Captives, an ancestral programming). From the moment we are born, we begin to be shaped according to the traditions, beliefs and ideologies of the people around us. However, when this is not aligned with the achievement of our peace and well-being, we begin to become aware of the world that they decide to impose on us and we try to walk our own path, intuitively we begin to deprogram ourselves from so many dogmas established generation after generation. That is the moment when spontaneously questions arise that are perennial: why am I here? What is my place? Where am I going? As children we imagined the future as a blank page on which we began to write our longed-for story, our eyes lit up at the infinite possibilities, we felt full of energy from the promise of discovery and the pleasure of living immersed in so much potential. We knew we were capable of everything. However, as we grow up, we are shown limitations and our vision of the future is constricted. What once elevated the imagination is now a burden of fear and anxiety. What once seemed unlimited becomes narrow and nebulous due to the infinite inductions to which we are subjected. But there is a way to recover the dizzying joy of the inexhaustible potential that we sensed as children and to escape the captivity where we are shown everyday life through battle, guilt, suffering and pain per se, as a way of life. Becoming conscious is not an intellectual act, it is an awakening of the soul that possesses us. - In my previous publication, "Return, Humanity requires us back." I exalt the essential nature of returning to our purest essence. Humanity requires us back with all the qualities of a child. What we must relearn from them is not something childish. Being by their side is returning to what we were, to what we are and what we forget. Remembering is wisdom, the deepest connection with the absolute present. It is realizing that living is a special, unique opportunity to advance as a species in harmony with the planet. Quantum physics allows us to know that there is a path to achieve this because it suggests the existence of many possible futures for each moment of our lives. Each future is in a state of rest until it is awakened by the choices made in the present. Every time a being is conceived in the mother's womb and then born on this plane of life, we have the opportunity to be reborn differently. The magic, wonder, mystery and innocence of a child's heart are the seeds of creativity and compassion that heal the world. We just have to return to it. That is the path and there are the solutions waiting to be recognized for everything that afflicts our hearts and the planet. There is the cure for so much pain and restlessness. - Then, in the book "The Best Gift", I describe the prodigious adventure that was involved in carrying out a project to socialize people with "intellectual disabilities" through theater. It talks about how beings with different abilities (that's how I like to feel them), welcomed us with an open heart to teach us (paradoxically) the essence of dramatic art. That, where the truth is inalienable. It narrates each step, from the structuring of a special acting workshop (according to their needs), going through the incredible rehearsal process, until reaching the night when they were able to appear before an audience delighted with their interpretive delivery. The applause of that audience was the validation that there are only beings who, according to their abilities, develop specific skills with which they can integrate into any social context. - The book before this one was "Acting, its mystical meaning" / The actor of the 21st century It talks about acting techniques and the mystical meaning of dramatic art. I share what I have learned in 40 years as an actor and as many as a director, 40 years of trial and error, research, and also 25 years of teaching as an acting teacher. As artists we cannot be a lie, we have to get away from it, also from masks. Let us be authentic and try to be performers, creators, let us not pretend to be what we are not, because pretensions are a burden that extinguishes our talent. The sense of truth saves the actor, and that is because "truth saves." Truth becomes life and the spectator believes in you. Truth not only becomes freedom for you, it also becomes the door to freedom for others. As in life itself, you will be a reflection. If you become light, not only will your life be illuminated, you will also become light for others. Many will be able to travel and achieve their dreams through you, through your honesty and truth as an artist. In this new state of consciousness, the 21st century actor is born. - Regarding my first publication (Beyond the Body), I narrate how I was able to reverse a stage four terminal cancer in a few months, understanding that it is not necessary to fight against the disease, but to integrate it in a loving way, understanding that there is no battle to fight. This book is for all those who are currently going through an experience called cancer (patients and family members), however, its lines will try to make you understand, "why" you are going through any experience in your life. With it I want to inspire you from my deepest intimacy, to share how I went through the "disease" that brought me back to life. Calling a disease "incurable" is because it has reached a level where it cannot be cured by external means, that is when they consider that there is nothing to do beyond the contributions of science through its advances. At that moment, we must go within ourselves to heal. Going beyond the body.
