Shannan Muskopf M.S.

关于作者

Shannan Muskopf has been teaching biology and anatomy for over 20 years, with students who are interested in a wide range of health careers. Her goal is to inspire young people to explore their interests and gain an appreciation for how the body works. Her classroom is a laboratory filled with skeletons and specimens that provide a hands-on experience. Kids might complain about touching icky skeletons; they always remember the experience and the names of the skeletons. She also posts lessons and information on a popular biology blog, www.biologycorner.com where current and past students can find information and refresh their memory on anatomy topics. Human Anatomy Activity Book for Kids is her first publication, giving young readers a chance to explore how the body works and inspire future health professionals. The pages of the book are an extension of her classroom, with vibrant images to label and activities that help learners understand how all the parts are connected. The book draws on her extensive training in pedagogy and experience with how students learn and process information by connecting facts to real-world problems and solutions. Science is a story, and the book is the story of the body.
