Shannon’s love of travel began at a young age. It opened her eyes and ears to the world. KeeKee’s Big Adventures was born while living in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, with her husband Paul and real-life calico kitty KeeKee. She is the author of the five award-winning KeeKee’s Big Adventures picture books. The lastest title, KeeKee's Big Adventures in London, England, debuted in November 2019. It was named Kirkus Reviews’ Top Indie Picture Books of 2019. It's also the winner of 2020 Readers’ Favorite Awards: Gold Medal Children’s Picture Book and Illustration Award; & Gold Mom’s Choice Award.
