Shaun Friedman

Hi Everyone! I'm Shaun Friedman from Cleveland, Ohio. I have been creating music for most of my life and focus mostly on hip hop instrumentals. I also make covers, remixes, and originals. I stumbled upon this program FL Studio when I was attending Ohio State. It was only version 4 at that time. 10 years after stumbling upon it, I accepted the challenge to write a book about the program! The book is a mixture of "how to" mixed with insights on what the "how to" means in the real world. I view all of the arts mostly the same and I respect all of them. When starting with a blank canvas, it is truly miraculous how something can come of nothing. This is true for music, painting, writing, film, TV and many creative endeavors. The best part is getting into a "flow" where time ceases to exist and you are in a creative groove.
