Shirley Desmond Jackson

Shirley Desmond Jackson has been a disciple of Jesus for over forty years. Although her self-achieving nature brought her success in her professional life, Shirley also experienced the pain and emptiness produced by the self-driven lifestyle. Through examining the truths in God’s Word, she has learned to let go of her self-driven ways and embrace a Spirit-led life. Because Shirley has seen how this self-driven lifestyle affects women of all ages, ethnicities, and walks of life, she shares these lessons to help others live freely as God intends. Shirley and her husband now live in Virginia where she spends her time writing and serving the ministries of her home church.
