Shut Up Systems

ShutUpSystems is a collaborative effort by Austyn Shull and his alternate persona Austyn R Shull, as well as many talented artists. Created by the Austyns and Mat Johnson, ShutUpSystems reaches across multiple media platforms to give everyone a dose of immaturity and impolitically correctness, and just plain insanity... ShutUpSystems.com started as a website name so Austyn could make a review site for internet marketing products, but that was boring and he soon realized his cartoon ideas actually could fit under the same title, so ShutUpSystems was born officially. Then, sometime later Mat Johnson sent an email in response to Austyn's artist gig that Mat's friend had seen and told him about... and soon after we had some amazing comic strips, that we coined Stripbits, and now everybody else calls "bit strips." I prefer ours... Then... while Mat was busy churning out stripbits, Austyn revisited a live action project he had hoped to make for free, but due to everyone being broke, that was a failed venture. There were some interested parties that were ready to start and even one who filmed, but here's what happened... One filmmaker some how got their camera thrown in front of a train, so that sucked. Another had their trailer raided... And another filmed some scenes but the monitors stopped working... so a haunted set, of course. So, since this project, the "Sycho Movie Project" was doomed as a live action project, and Austyn realized he would have hated all the zombie scenes since it's obvious in most zombie movies that the actors are excited to finally play a zombie, Austyn took the scripts he wrote for the teams and felt sorry for those pages... But as he read them, he had an idea... maybe completely write the project, so he began writing. But after the first episode, the scripts were too action packed to be done by amateur filmmakers, so instead... Austyn rebranded it "Blink Psychopath" and wrote the rest without budget limitations... it got crazier and more insane as well. In addition to that book, we also started working with an amazing animator, Antun Milosevic, and he finally brought life to the stripbits. We also found amazing voice artists and musicians and that's where we're at now... Cartoons, Books, Stripbits... but we're not finished. The ShutUpSystems is comprised of 4 Dimensions tied into one ultimate universe. This idea was brainstormed after we had an issue with a voice and Austyn came up with ideas to fix it that involved minor tweaks but referred to an idea in "Collection Vol 1" that mentioned the forming of that Earth. The Merged Systems: In the "Collection Vol 1" book, it's revealed that their Earth is actually a combined Earth that was the result of a dying sun turning into a black hole and that black hole sucking in both planets. The east and west Hemisphere are separated by the blackhole... but the Earth can still be traveled across... But if you dig too far down, and try to cross, we come out on the alternate Hemisphere in another place far far outside the Milky Way. This is to explain Dragon myths on different continents. The Previous Merged Systems: Due to an event in one of the projects, this original reality was rewritten, seemingly unproblematic to the characters... However, due to the rewrite, the previous reality has its own path. The Testicles Systems: In the ShutupSystems cartoons, the Earth was created similarly, but these two Earths merely collided together, creating a double Earth... mysteriously held together by an yet-to-be-explained force. The Shrapnel Systems: This dimension has yet to be used, but essentially... the two Earths were caught in the black hole's vortex and slung into each other with such force, that both shattered and the many pieces were ricocheted through the galaxies and implanted Earth's future life onto other planets... This allows for Earth ending events in other projects in the works... without being a multiverse. These 4 dimensions allow the characters in the other dimensions to be reused in different projects, but differently. For example, the Collection from Austyn's Collection book returns in Blink Psychopath as a villain...
