Dr. Rosen is probably the most experienced practitioner using hypnosis, having played around with it since age 15. He started meeting Milton Erickson personally in 1970, had several sessions with him during the next decade, wrote the forewords to 3 books by and about Erickson. In 1980, the year of Erickson's death, Dr. Rosen became the Founding President of the New York Milton H Erickson Society for Hypnosis and Psychotherapy (NYSEPH). A few months before his death Erickson had signed a contract with Norton to co-author "My Voice Will Go With You" but the task of writing this book was left to Rosen--utilizing Erickson's "teaching tales".
