Simmons Buntin is the author of Satellite: Essays on Fatherhood and Home, Near and Far, publishing on March 4, 2025, and two collections of poetry, Bloom and Riverfall. He is also the author of a collection of sustainable community case studies, Unsprawl: Remixing Spaces as Places (with Ken Pirie). With Elizabeth Dodd and Derek Sheffield, he is co-editor of Dear America: Letters of Hope, Habitat, Defiance, and Democracy. He lives in Tucson, Arizona, where he founded and edits the world's first online literary journal of place, Terrain dot org, and also serves as director of marketing and communications for the University of Arizona's College of Information Science.
