Simon Parker

Simon Parker is a British travel writer, broadcast journalist and public speaker working across a wide range of themes and subjects for the BBC and newspapers all over the world. He has reported on product shortages in Venezuela, the ‘migrant crisis’ in Greece, social inequality in the barrios of Northern Colombia and climate change in the high Andes and Svalbard. He has reported from over 100 countries by the age of 35 – from Bhutan and French Polynesia to Patagonia and Namibia. Between March 20th and July 30th 2016 Simon sailed and cycled from China to London in 133 days. His Earth Cycle TV show can be found on Amazon Prime and Youtube.
