Sina Ebnesajjad is the founder of FluoroConsultants Group, LLC and has been the President of the company since 2006. FluoroConsultants Group serves companies worldwide in a variety of areas including consulting, engineering services, custom manufacturing and globally sourcing fluoropolymers, high performance plastics and metal parts, from the USA, Europe and Asia. The company specializes in bringing complete solutions to the industries that process or use fluoropolymers. Examples include are part or process design, process optimization and troubleshooting, analysis of part-failure, expert witness services, patent and intellectual property, or business growth. Sina was The Series Editor of Plastics Design Library, published by Elsevier, from 2010 to 2021 where he oversaw Elsevier's publications in the areas of plastics, elastomers and adhesives. He retired as a Senior Technology Associate at the end of 2005 from the DuPont Fluoroproducts after 24 years. Sina was editor-in-chief of William Andrew Publishing from 2005 to 2007. He earned his master's and PhD degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Sina is author and co-author of over fifteen technical books in the areas of fluoropolymers technology and applications; and titles in surface treatment of materials and adhesion. His experiences include thirty six years with fluoropolymer technologies including applications, polymerization, finishing, fabrication, product development, failure analysis, market development and technical service; experience with various operations of polyvinyl fluoride (Tedlar® PVF by DuPont) films and coatings; experience in nylon and polyester extrusion and spinning processes; and forty eight years of tech. writing and publication. Sina holds six patents in various areas.
