Sol

关于作者

To date, SOL has written five novels, the first being her debut series, August: An H-Town Love Story I-III. My Dope Boy From Atlanta, which is the controversial tale of a young black girl growing up in the hood who is trying to beat the odds stacked against her in a society that's set up for her to fail. SOL's most recent release is Never Thought I'd Love A Dope Boy, a collaborative love story about falling for the enemy. SOL lives in a small town by the name of Royse City with her husband and two beautiful daughters. Her days are usually spent chasing her little ones around the house and her evenings are dedicated to writing. When she's not busy beating a new novel idea into her husband's head, she's probably painting a scene in her own. A proud alumnus of The University of North Texas where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, SOL bleeds Mean Green. "GO EAGLES!" She actually came up with the idea to write her first novel the day before she graduated from college. She was reading through her many journals that she wrote all of her crazy college experiences into and a light bulb went off in her head. "I could turn this into a book," SOL thought aloud. It was just a crazy idea initially until she pulled her MacBook Pro open and started telling the story. Four short months after graduating, August: An H-Town Love Story was born. In September of 2015, SOL submitted her manuscript to a well-known publisher and from there, her career as a novelist took off.
