Sonia Gomez-Neri was born and raised in San Diego, California. Influenced by her Mexican-American heritage she developed a love for two cultures, two languages and one Catholic faith all of which have inspired her writing. Her stories are about love, family and faith. Sonia is also an elementary school teacher and has educated children for over 25 years. Her other monikers include: mother of 4, wife to her true love, daughter to her greatest role model, sister to her best friend, Nina to her godsons, servant to God. Sonia's first book, One Last Chance, was written for her brother-in-law when he lost his mother suddenly. She wrote it to remind him of all the beautiful memories he had with her and more importantly that he would see her again one day. Sonia's second book and first children's book, Don't Forget About God, available in both Spanish and English, was written to her sons to remind them of God's great love as seen through the eyes of their mother. Sonia's next stories will focus on her love for her daughters and her mother.
