
Sonia Pérez de la Fuente She spent her childhood in Vimianzo (A Coruña), her native village. Since she was very young, she liked to listen to the stories that her relatives told and she started to tell fables and stories that she made up. As a child, she felt she was being “transplanted” to her city, A Coruña. When she was fifteen, she wrote her first book. She studied Teaching in Santiago de Compostela. She has lived for twenty-two years in Gran Canaria where she actually works as teacher. From 2018 to 2021 she worked and lived in Fuerteventura. In 2002, the magazine Aturuxo, in its 31st issue, published Posa Posa. The website of la Casa de Galicia in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria published in 2002, Mis amigas las hormigas, Rayito de sol, El maravilloso mundo de Peque and Doña Concha y sus retoños. The editorial Afortunadas published Mi amiga Teresa (2002). The editorial Círculo Rojo published El mundo de Gory (2017), La guagua Lala (2018), El maravilloso mundo de Peque and Noa, la Luna y sus amiguitos (2019). She has self-published in Kindle Publishing Posa Posa (2020). In 2021: Piticlín, Andrea y Pinito en el país de las figuras, Andrea y Pinito viajan a través del espejo, El mundo de Gory, Sueños, visiones y apariciones, El maravilloso mundo de Peque, Como dos gotas de agua, El mundo de Gory Hoja Dorada and Como dúas pingas de auga (Galician-English bilingual version) and Noa, la Luna y sus amiguitos. All these are Spanish-English versions, digital and printed format. She currently collaborates with the digital cultural publication Guaxara Magazine, in Gran Canaria.
