I was raised in Chesapeake, VA and moved to Mooresville, NC about 12 years ago. I live on Lake Norman with my husband and our yellow lab, Ty- who is MY best Animal Friend! I have one awesome daughter, Alden, who also has two dogs - Zappa and Anarchy. Zappa is her Service Dog for Type 1 Diabetes so he is a very cool guy. I have been a special education teacher for many years and am now a reading tutor. I specialize in teaching Dyslexic students how to read and I LOVE what I do. Writing educational content books has been a dream for a long time and I am so excited to be able to share my passion for helping children become confident readers through the Amazon platform.
